Bradley Cox, Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, was selected to receive the 2012 Transformation Through Teaching Award from Florida State University’s Spiritual Life Project. The award honors full-time faculty that have an intellectual, inspirational, and integrative impact on the lives of students.

“My own life has been transformed, several times, by dedicated mentors who recognized that the teaching and learning process need not be constrained by the walls of a classroom. The Transformation Through Teaching award serves as a reminder that, as professors, some of our most important lessons have little to do with the content of our courses,” said Cox.

Rebecca Brower, a doctoral student in ELPS, nominated Cox for this prestigious recognition.   Cox was recognized at a dinner held at the President’s House on November 5th.
