November 29, 2012 Leave a comment Go to comments

The FSU College of Education has been accepted to the 2013 Children’s Defense Fund (CDF) Freedom Schools Program and will work with Leon County School’s 50 LARGE to implement the program this upcoming summer. CDF Freedom Schools provide after-school and summer enrichment opportunities to enhance student motivation to read, create an excitement for learning, and offer a connection between children and their families with community resources.  CDF is a private, non-profit child advocacy organization that has worked for 40 years to ensure equal opportunities for all children.
