College of Education faculty and graduate students to present at 2015 AERA annual meeting

53 faculty members, graduate students, and researchers from the FSU College of Education, Florida Center for Reading Research, and the Learning Systems Institute will be presenting at the 2015 American Educational Research Association (AERA) annual meeting this April. In addition to research presentations, many will participate in poster and roundtable sessions.

The topics of research being presented represent a wide range of focuses in the College, including leadership and policy, online learning, teacher preparation, postsecondary success, reading instruction, education reform, measurement and assessment, instructional design, and more.

The annual meeting will take place April 16 to April 20 in Chicago, Illinois. This year’s theme, “Toward Justice: Culture, Language, and Heritage in Education Research and Praxis,” will focus on local and global attention to justice.

The AERA Annual Meeting is the largest gathering of scholars in the field of education research. This year, attendance is expected to surpass 14,000 with more than 2,600 sessions.
