Graduate students and faculty receive honors in excellence


Dr. Valerie Shute

Each year, the FSU Graduate School recognizes graduate students for their excellence in teaching, research, and scholarship. Also recognized are graduate students who have received external funding for their outstanding contributions.

In addition, the Graduate School recognizes faculty members for their outstanding mentoring of students. Dr. Valerie Shute, professor of Instructional Systems and Learning Technologies, will be honored as an award recipient of the Graduate Student Mentor Award.

This year, the College of Education has eight students who received recognition:

Dr. Shute and the eight graduate students will be recognized for their outstanding achievements at the Celebration of Graduate Student Excellence on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 3:30pm in the FSU Alumni Center.
