FSU COE ranked No. 37 in Best Graduate Schools ranking

The FSU College of Education consistently ranks among the best in the nation. This year, the college moved up three places to No. 37 according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2017 edition of “Best Graduate Schools of Education.

“With our position in the top 10 percent of almost 400 graduate colleges of education nationwide, our efforts to maintain high quality programs and expand our research funding in the College of Education are evident,” said Marcy Driscoll, dean of the College of Education.

The U.S. News & World rankings are based on two types of data: expert opinions about program excellence and statistical indicators that measure the quality of a school’s faculty, research and students. In addition, the FSU College of Education was ranked No. 3 in the nation for online graduate programs and the college’s educational psychology program was ranked No. 20.

Outside the classroom, Florida State University seeks to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere where every student can thrive. Recently, FSU was recognized by INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine as one of seven Diversity Champion colleges and universities in the nation.
